Just had someone send me this question:
"Just wondering if you have always been vego or are a new found Vego and how far you are taking it... eg cutting out dairy, etc? "
I am a reasonably new found vegetarian (however I have never ever eaten Seafood). I do still eat dairy products (lots of yoghurt), but no meat products at all (and minimal eggs). I eat loads of beans/grains/soy etc and will eat absolutely ANY form of fruit or vegetable! Yum!
Wedding gigs...
For those of you who don't already know, I front a 9 piece band and we play events, functions and occasionally weddings. They are generally easy and super fun gigs at nice venues, with fancy food and alcohol and the crowd are always there to have a good time.
As a vegetarian, I am now the only one in the band on our rider to have a special meal - and I have to say... I always get so much more of a better deal then the meat eaters!!
I am currently singing at the last of 3 gigs this weekend... And once again the vegetarians win with the fancy nice meal as opposed to the slab of meat and side of veges!
Meats for freaks. Give it up peps.

The voice of many cars
Pretty sure this is the last of the run of car TVC's I've sung on this year. Bless youtube for bringing me up to speed!
While we're talking cars...
I also did this Volvo TVC a while back... as you can see, the lack of a television puts me out of touch with all the ads I sing on!
Mitsubishi ASX TVC "Park".
This is a Mitsubishi commercial I sang on a little while back. I don't have a TV so I haven't seen it in action but I have heard from a few people that it's getting played quite a bit - so I thought I may as well share it...
Bday cake!
Hola Bitches
I had the pleasure of being invited to a mexican party at my friend Linzi's house. I actually baked some mexican cupcakes (see the picture below) and even though they were slightly burnt and not very edible - damn they looked good!
Linzi has the most amazing and creative house - I felt sooo inspired to make more things for around my house! (I am a tad limited though as my house is pretty much a room... but it was nice and inspiring anyway). It was such a beautiful and sunny day and I even had the chance to give my poor legs their first summer sun....

Damn Hippies!
Check out this blog... can you believe my dad is running around Australia swimming in crocodile infested water? I can! Crazy hippies!
p.s. I am actually quite jealous and wish I too could be roaming around the middle of Australia and getting a head start on my tan!
OPEN HOUSE
So the Microsoft OPEN HOUSE event actually turned out to be a really funny experience!
The first day - I got there, started playing but within minutes was asked to turn the music (right right) down as they were filming someone just around the corner. I turned down but then within minutes again was asked to actually kill the music for a while while they filmed. So I hung out on the couch with Lote Tuqiri (of Wests Tigers) and Caroline from thebeautypunk - both whom were sooo lovely.
I was however a tad curious to find out what was actually going on... so peered around the corner, only to find 'Smith' from Sex in the City (aka Jason Lewis)! So, instead of playing music - I had to just sit there and watch him jump around and demonstrate some new XBOX game.
Yes - his shirt did kind of come up at times.
Yes - I was totally happy not playing and just chilling and watching.
Oh - it's a hard life.
The second day I played was open to the public so there were loads of cute kids running around, getting their faces painted and busting out some dance moves that literally blew my mind. My camera is broken at the moment so I had to take pics on my phone - excuse the poor quality!
