Over the next fortnight, I am lucky enough to be involved in 2 exciting events.

The first - being the launch of DEATH STROBE RECORDS at GOODGOD - Friday 9th April. Should be a fun warm up to the weekend.

The second - is a night that will feature some of the most successful (and hot) young women in the creative industry in Sydney all battling it out over the decks. Saturday 10th April at Ching-a-lings. I've managed to score some amazing prizes for the winning set, and some of the proceeds of the night will be donated to the Wayside Chapel.

All up, I am hoping to get out of town this coming long weekend to chill in preparation for 2 massive nights and lots of genius music the following...

FREDDY THE DOG

When I first moved out of home into a tiny apartment, and then to Melbourne, my dog Freddy had to stay behind. Years later, he now resides in the Blue mountains and literally lives the life of a gypsy dog, traveling around Australia and soaking up the sun. It's nice to see he is still winning hearts everywhere he goes. I miss you Freddy.

Last night we (and I say we loosely as I personally didn't quite make it to the studio) started recording drums with Tim from The Church for some of the tracks I have been working on with a friend. I can't wait to hear them... I can only imagine that they are going to blow my mind...

Yes - there were LLAMAS!!

Wow - Miss Georgia Kay - you really do know how to throw a party!

Highlights included: road tripping out of Sydney and not having to drive for once, bush walking, throwing rocks and digging holes, dancing to "Pump Up the Jam", Dave and I getting CDJ rage, the rap/speech Georgia's dad and family gave, the beautiful slide show, the "happy cake", the llamas, sooo much food, sooo much booze, llama bonding, man clip earring wearing, bacon and eggs breakfast, road tripping home with the black doctor and then passing out at home after eating way too much homemade minestrone soup.

Big thanks to Dave (Captain Star ship) for coming and playing with me, and to everyone else who brought with them the most amazing party vibe I have seen in a long time. Much love.
